I am Andreas Nagel, IT security engineer, specialist in digital forensics and founder of Blackout Security.
For several years I have been working in the field of penetration testing, incident response and digital forensics – with the aim of making IT security practical, understandable and effective.

From an early age, I was fascinated by how attacks actually occur and why they often go unnoticed.
Instead of just fighting symptoms, I wanted to understand how systems behave when something goes wrong, and how to reconstruct truth from traces.
This forensic perspective still shapes my work today: analytical, calm, solution-oriented.

With Blackout Security, I combine offensive methods with defensive thinking.

I simulate real attacks, analyze systems in depth, and develop concrete measures from this.
so that companies, authorities and organizations can learn from incidents instead of suffering damage.
The focus is not solely on technology, but on the trust between people and the system.
